The whole point to this is not the history of my hair, but the pursuit of seeking a good style and someone who can cut it the way you like. G gets his hair cut at a local Korean barber and he looks fantastic. YB went out the other week and got her styled in an outstanding way...drives me crazy every day. So naturally, Z, not to be left out of anything, wanted to get her hair cut. To be honest, YB's been working on letting Z's hair grow just so Z would have enough hair to trim and style. Until YB got her hair styled Z hadn't said anything. But after YB's awesome do Z talked non-stop, "I need a haircut!" She would not let YB put her hair in a pony tail/sprig thing anymore and, after a few days of constantly pulling out such style, YB noticed Z liked her hair down, just like YB's new style.
Like mother like daughter.
Without further adieu, YB and I took Z to the mall, marched into Cartoon Cuts and sat Z down in a chair where she watched part of Thomas and Friends while the barber/stylist cut her hair as similar to YB's as she could. She is now a very happy girl, looking just like momma and hopefully learning YB's sense of style and ability to choose the right paths in life.
